This weekend particularly has been a heated weekend. Maybe even the hottest this summer in my opinion and in the wake of the murder of Michael Brown in Ferguson, STL County, MO, a town I am very familiar with, the most weighted issues addressed have been police brutality and its injustice over humanity as well as the liberation of women. I was fortunate enough to partake in the movement with the Revolution Club during Chicago's annual South side Bud Billiken parade speaking out against these issues not only in Chicago and St. Louis where I'm from, but across the nation as this is a nationwide injustice and must be addressed in full to the masses to raise continued awareness.
